STEP 1
The Problem is not the symptom.
A symptom is simply an indicator or a sign that a problem exists.
The Problem is not the uncomfortable emotion.
Emotions are survival programs. They alert us to what we must deal with and are specific to different kinds of challenges. (for example, fear is an emotion specific to danger, and grief is an emotion that is specific to loss).
The Problem is the root cause of your symptoms and uncomfortable emotions.
STEP2
Release the Emotion
Experiencing Emotions like fear, sadness and anger can be painful, uncomfortable and sometimes frightening.
Most of us don’t know how to deal with emotions effectively. Instead, we work hard to manage them through avoidance. That coping strategy is the very thing that leads us to a variety of psychological symptoms caused by chronic stress. Avoiding emotions does not work in the long run.
Emotions are wired into our brains and bodies and nervous systems to help us cope with our environments. No matter how scary they may sometimes seem, if we allow ourselves to process and metabolise the emotions, they will invariably take us to a good place.
TFT and PSY-TAP combine a series of practical tools that work with the body and mind to allow us to quickly and safely release blockages and unwanted emotion.
STEP 3
REPROGRAM The Mind
From childhood we consciously and unconsciously program our mind and body with a set of instructions to face everyday life, from brushing our teeth, to dealing with the challenges life presents us; whether it be big or small.
Although all of these instructions give us the outcome that we seek in the short run, some programs (like phobias, anxiety, self doubt, feeling stuck...) stop us to live the life we yearn for.
Once the Root cause has been identified and the Emotions released, it is essential we reprogram our body and mind with new and resourceful instructions.
To support this transformation, I use a combination of effective therapeutic techniques tailored to your needs:
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
NLP stands for 'Neuro Lingusitic Programming' and has been around since 1970's when its co-founders, Richard Bandler and John Grinder first modelled other therapists.
NLP is frequently known as the "user manual for your mind" and gives us insights into how our thinking patterns can affect every aspect of our lives. It looks at the way in which we think and process our thoughts (Neuro), the language patterns we use (Linguistic) and our behaviours (Programming) and how these interact to have a positive (or negative) effect on us as individuals.
NLP is a collection of a wide range of methods and models which create an understanding of thought process and behaviour. It provides an extremely flexible tool kit which can be used to facilitate powerful, quick and long lasting change in both individuals and organizations.
Time Line Therapy™ (TLT)
It is a powerful therapeutic process that has evolved from hypnosis and NLP. It was developed by Tad James, Ph.D. in the 1980s. by applying a therapeutic process to the concept that we store our memories in an internal memory storage system.
TLT provides one of the most powerful processes and techniques for personal change and growth by facilitating the elimination of the painful emotions attached to memories or events in the past. TLT also focuses on what we can learn from those events and use what we learn as a resource for the future. Time Line Therapy™ techniques and practical processes produce long-lasting transformation with a minimum of discomfort to the client.
Psychosensory Techniques & Principles (PSY-Tap)
Endorsed by the London College of Medicine.
Psy-Tap is the future of Therapy created by Kevin Laye. Psy-Tap includes a powerful set of principles and techniques influenced by many different existing treatment methodologies such as Thought Field Therapy, EMDR, Havening, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Psychosensory SATT, Advanced Meridian Intervention Techniques all which blend seamlessly with other skill-sets from hypnosis.
Psy-Tap focuses with the “now”. It works with the feeling and not the memory so there’s no need to revisit old trauma. Results can be achieved in rapid time and provide us with practical tools to control our mind and feelings.

Hypnosis is the process of learning how to go into an altered state, sometimes called trance.
All hypnotic states are characterised by a tremendously pleasant state of relaxation, which individuals allow themselves to enter so that desired, beneficial suggestions may be given directly to the part of the mind known as the subconscious.
The subconscious mind holds out beliefs, habits and behaviours and it influences our mental and physical functions. The subconscious is a tremendous reservoir of our unrecognised strengths and knowledge
Under hypnosis, the conscious, the rational part of the brain, is temporarily bypassed, making the subconscious part receptive to therapy. This means that people are not treated with hypnosis but are treated in hypnosis.
I use Hypnotherapy as a complementary process to collaborate with the subconscious to install resourceful patterns of behaviours and reinforce positive states.
